Reliable Machine Stretch Film for Efficient Industrial Packaging
Tuosheng Packaging manufactures machine stretch film, also called machine stretch wrap or machine pallet wrap, in Suzhou, China. Our LLDPE and mLLDPE machine rolls are made from 15 to 50 µm (about 60 to 200 gauge), most often in 500 mm (20 in) width, with roll lengths of 800 to 2,000 m (about 2,600 to 6,500 ft) on a 76 mm (3 in) paper core. The film runs on semi-automatic turntable wrappers and on automatic lines with powered pre-stretch. Roll weights are stated as net film weight, excluding the core.

Choose Machine Stretch Film by Wrapping System and Load Type
Start with your pallet wrapper and your most difficult load. The film ranges below are typical starting points. We confirm the final specification after a sample trial on your own line.
Semi-Automatic
Turntable and Standard Warehouse Systems
For semi-automatic turntable wrappers and regular carton loads, a 17–23 μm (about 70–90 gauge) standard machine film is usually enough. What matters most is smooth unwinding, stable cling and a roll size and core that fit your wrapper.

Automatic / Pre-Stretch
High-Volume Automatic Pallet Wrapping
On automatic lines with powered pre-stretch, choose a high-stretch mLLDPE grade with consistent gauge. It runs at higher pre-stretch ratios without breaks, so each roll wraps more pallets and the line stops less often.

High Containment
Heavy, Uneven or Sharp-Edged Loads
For heavy, uneven or sharp-edged loads, choose a thicker or higher-puncture grade, often 23–30 μm (about 90–120 gauge) or more, and protect corners with edge boards. Test on your own pallets before ordering in bulk.

No. Tuosheng Packaging manufactures stretch film only. We match film to the wrapper you already use.
For most mixed carton pallets on a turntable wrapper, 70–80 gauge (about 18–20 µm) works well. Use thinner high-performance grades on powered pre-stretch lines and thicker grades for heavy or sharp-edged loads. See our stretch film thickness guide.
They are the same product. Machine stretch wrap is the usual US term, machine stretch film is common internationally, and pallet wrap is common in the UK.
In the US, 20 in × 5,000 ft rolls at 60–80 gauge are the most common format for semi-automatic wrappers. In Europe and the UK, 500 mm rolls of about 1,500 m at 17–23 µm are typical. We produce to the size you already use.
Our machine stretch film runs on most semi-automatic turntable wrappers and automatic wrappers, including rotary arm and ring systems. Confirm your roll width, core size, maximum roll weight and pre-stretch ratio before ordering.
